Conte hoping to reunite with midfielder at Chelsea

The Blues could offer up to €40 million to convince Bayern Munich to part with Arturo Vidal in the summerArturo Vidal
As Antonio Conte’s future with Chelsea waits on the horizon, the Italy coach is looking to bring former Juventus maestro Arturo Vidal to the Premier League.
The Chilean continues to shine at Bayern Munich this season with four goals and eight assists in all competitions, but the chance to reunite with the Italian tactician could push the Blues to make a large offer this summer.
“In war, I would always want someone like Arturo beside me,” the Azzurri boss said in reference to his times with the midfielder.

Vidal showed that the feeling was mutual when doing battle against Juve in the Champions League last month: “And I’m the same, with Conte I would feel comfortable even in the worst situations.”
Such a positive relationship between the player and coach reveals that their resounding successes in Turin was no coincidence, as Vidal’s versatility in Conte’s tactics helped elevate his status to a top class talent.

In all areas of midfield the Chilean showed a true eye for goal. Seven goals in his first season progressed to 15 in the 2012/13 campaign, and Vidal showed his best form in Conte’s final coaching campaign with the Old Lady by notching 18 goals in the 2013/14 season.
If the right cards fall into place, Conte and Vidal would surely relish the chance to try and conquer England together.
