Top 10 Most Beautiful Transgender People in Hollywood.

Though beauty is skin deep — not all beauties are born feeling comfortable in their own skin.

10. Janet Mock
The former People magazine editor showed off her writing skills in her book, Redefining Realness.
What she has really done is helped redefine transgender women in the media: in 2012, she started the viral Twitter hashtag #GirlsLikeUs (which was meant to empower trans women).
We're just as obsessed with her braveness in putting her story out there in essays for xoJane and Marie Claire as we are with her natural spiral curls.

9. Alexis Arquette
You may remember the actress, musician, and cabaret performer from movies like Pulp Fiction, but perhaps her biggest claim to fame was playing a Boy George in The Wedding Singer.
We'll never forget her '80s beauty style rendition of "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?"

8. Balian Buschbaum
No, that's not Justin Timberlake's long-lost brother. It's former German pole vaulter.
In November 2007, he announced his retirement from the sport and began gender reassignment surgery. Since then, he has appeared on Let's Dance, Germany's version of Dancing With the Stars.
He is another example of a guy who just knows how to groom.

7. Conchita Wurst
This bearded beauty is another Jean Paul Gaultier runway alum. She's mostly known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 for her jam "Rise Like a Phoenix."

6. Ines Rau
This Parisian beauty transitioned at age 16 and arrived in the spotlight in November 2013 when she posed nude with '90s model Tyson Beckford in a racy photo editorial for OOB, a luxury French magazine.
Just like other Parisian beauties, she has that je ne sais quoi sexiness of barely there makeup and just-woke-up textured hair.

5. Isis King
It's fair to say Isis is one of the most well-known trans models on the small screen, after two seasons on America's Next Top Model. Plus, she was the first trans woman to ever compete on the show.
She's gone on to show off her amazing cheekbones as an American Apparel model.

4. Jenna Talackova
The Canadian model made headlines in 2012 and broke down barriers when she legally fought to be allowed to compete in Miss Universe Canada.
She won, making it hard for the media to ignore her beauty (just look at that shiny honey hair!).

3. Lea T
You can't just get chosen to be Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci's muse if you don't have a lewk.
Lea T has broken boundaries by not only becoming a mainstay in the fashion industry, but also by grabbing a prestigious position as the face of Redken.
And it's no wonder the L'Oréal brand scooped her up — she has a dreamy, long textured mane. Talk about Coachella hair!

2. Andreja Pejic
We often find ourselves jealous of the beauties we see on the runways — but Andreja brings it to a whole new level.
She takes edgy risks like Kendall Jenner but has the catwalk grace of a "supe". No wonder top fashion houses like Jean Paul Gaultier hire her to model women's clothes.
Last year, she openly underwent reassignment surgery and an official name change (from Andrej to Andreja), securing her spot in fashion history.

1. Laverne Cox
Ever since we first saw the lovely Laverne in the role of hairdresser Sophia Burset in “Orange Is the New Black,” we knew we had discovered our newest beauty crush.
She's equally noticeable on the red carpet, thanks to her doll eyes, glowing skin, and voluminous curls. Did we also mention she covered Time magazine last May? Badass.
